All You Need For Weight Loss Is You

All You Need For Weight Loss Is You

Ok so it's this time of year again. January and everyone goes crazy about weight loss. Not only the people trying to lose weight but also shops, advertisers, celebrity's with their DVDs! They want to cash in on this as much as possible and what you need to realise is that you don't need all the stuff there trying to flog to you. All you need for weight loss is you.

It can be hard trying to lose weight. The last thing you need is all these different products that claim to do all the work for you. Plus on top of that celebrity DVDs with their toned slim bodys drummed into your face and the classic before and after picture. The thing with these celebrity's is they have 2 things that the majority of people don't have which means 100% success for them and failure for us.

Time and money!

Ok so they can fit their exercise in any time they want. They aren't working hard days like the majority of people. Money is another big factor. They can afford the best personal trainers (not cheap), a nutritionist to make sure their eating right, healthy food which I'm sure you know doesn't come cheap! What I'm trying to get across is don't be fooled by this magical DVD that transformed them by only doing 20 mins a day. The reality is they would have done more exercise with their personal trainer each day, have been motivated each day by their personal trainer (very important point!) and have eaten exactly the right food in order to lose weight and tone up.

Let me pick up on the motivational point. This is something that people tend to lose very early on in their mission to lose weight. It's hard to get up each and every day and get yourself going. Ok so how do we change this without the cost of personal trainers? Well buddy up with someone who also wants to lose weight. You'll be surprised how much of a boost you will give each other, you won't want to let your buddy down so that in itself will motivate yourself. If you have no one to buddy up with then a way to motivate yourself is to see progress.

So record each week things like your weight, waste size, leg size, thigh size, arm size. Seeing that each week you're getting slimmer will give you that motivation every morning. The thing is because this is such a gradual progress you won't actually really notice the difference in the mirror. So that's another important message. Don't set your goals too high! Set them realistically to what you're going to achieve. You can really lose track if you can't reach your targets, but if they're realistic and you reach them the morale boost is incredible!

What I want you to take from this is that you don't need to go all out and spend loads of money. Sure you will lose pounds but not the ones you want. ;) If you want to lose weight then eat right, exercise right, put in the hard work and keep your motivation up.
